With the pioneering efforts and active participation of a few dedicated souls, the Sabha, the only one of its kind in this city, came into existence in 1969. The aims of the Sabha are to offer to the art lovers of Pune regular programmes of classical music, dance and drama and to develop the artistic talents latent in the younger generation to lead a fuller life.
